(Gen 3:19 KJV)  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

“Work” is a curse, because life is a gift and no gift is meant to bring pain. No one calls what they love... “work”. These days, most “work” for money. When what you serve in life, becomes “hard work”, without reward, it’s probably time to change (repent)...

When we look at the human body we see that it is a miracle of creation, the heart pumps every second to keep the body alive; the bone marrow produces endless “cells” that replenish the blood; The blood consists of billions of different “cells” that undertake their tasks and disappear; The veins and capillaries transport this blood to every other “cell” in the body supplying air (oxygen); nutrients and minerals as required and removing the waste products…. Every cell in the human body “operates” tirelessly, without complaint, because this is not “work”, this is “life”… We do not need to “work” (make any effort) to keep our heart beating, to produce blood cells, to operate any of the functions of the body… So why do we have to “work” to provide food, shelter and whatever else… is our work and striving simply the result of "ignorance and fear" or lack of "trust" or "faith" in our creator and maintainer?

(John 6:29 KJV)  Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

To understand this we need to look at where we have come from and where we are heading… In paradise, there was no need for clothes and our food hung on the trees around us like brightly coloured Christmas decorations just waiting to be picked… no one considers picking gifts off the Christmas tree as “work”…

Outside of paradise, life is not like Christmas… we have donned clothes, which need to be stitched, maintained by hand and washed. We lost sight of the precious liquid filled fruits and were forced to eat dry seeds like the birds, crushing this seed into a powder mixed with rain to make it a palatable paste consumed as “bread and water”… from here our work has spun out exponentially as we have wrestled to overcome our lot and our unfaithful (sin-filled) lives….

Most “Christians” work all year to have that short “Christmas” break an oasis in a year of slavery… Sure “work” is easier if we love what we have to do, this is a bit like the loving acceptance in an arranged marriage… but is this “love” from the hand of God or from the hand of man… Even Nazism would bring unity with global acceptance… it doesn’t make it good (of God). Jesus was NOT a carpenter, he even took fisherman and tax collectors AWAY from their work.. Go figure.

So instead of repenting and returning to Paradise, the creative brains among us invented machines to take the work out of our lives. And so with industrialization, the washing machine, the chain saw, the combine harvester, the car and a myriad other “labour” saving devices were created for maintenance, consumption, pollution and “prosperity” in this life... All at the cost of the earths natural resources and paradise. Ironically, we now “work” to overcome the damage of our prior "works".

We still cannot “work” our way into paradise, it is a gift to those who STOP what they are doing and repent… to embrace this revelation…

(Rev 2:7 KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
