(Lev 19:33-35 KJV) And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
Where is the Kingdom of God?
Is it some ‘spiritual or ghostly realm’ full of dead ancestors and friends, some distant planet inhabited by supernatural beings, some secret place of demonic lizards who rule the world or the promised land of virgins and whatever else tickles the senses?
Or is it, as scripture would suggest the outcome of living right?
Look around the world is there anywhere… a place where you would want to live, marry and raise a family? Where is that promised land of peace and abundance?
In delusion many give up in life and believe that ‘the kingdom’ only comes with death, which is emphasized when the headstone reads…. “Rest in Peace”. This is so sad. To think that the only peace we have from the “pain” of this life comes with death. Wake up people!!! Jesus didn’t die and go to heaven. He got up and walked away in the flesh, he was not a ghost or a spirit. In fact if you look back through the Old Testament you will find that anyone who dealt with ghosts and disembodied spirits was put to death. Let’s face it, if humans are mostly ignorant and evil when alive, the chances of them gaining enlightenment when dead and totally disconnected, is unlikely.....
So.... why pay them any heed or look to the dead for a way to live… right?
So how do we ‘seek the kingdom of God’… do we journey to India, the Himalayas, to Jerusalem, to the Mount of Olives or to some other Holy pilgrimage?
Wherever we go on this planet we will find rocks, trees and wildlife if we are lucky, but mostly we will find people in ignorance, fear and greed, confusion, disarray and pain.
I came to Australia in the hope of living a simple and righteous life on the land with my family, but over the years I have come to realize that the world is an unstoppable force that will trample over everyone and everything in ignorance, fear and greed, especially those who seek peace and the welfare of life. Let’s face it, if the “powers that be” could crucify Jesus, the most righteous man that ever lived, then what hope is there for peace, for the rest of us?
I re-iterate……Where is the Kingdom of God?
The ‘kingdom of God’ comes only when humanity places God (love) and Godly values at the top of their ‘to do’ list, till then… we are all destined for Hell in chaos and pain.
(Mat 6:31-33 KJV) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or,Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
