(Gen 4:3-5 KJV)
And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

No preacher in Sunday school ever explained to me why Abel’s offering was given more respect than Cain’s, but the answer is clear in the words when read carefully. Cain brought the fruit of the ground, Abel brought of the firstlings of HIS flock. Cain picked his offering off the ground, whereas Abel had made an effort in tending and shepherding his produce. One offering was careless, the other offering was careful. One offering was without love, the other offering was with love. And respect is 90% of love. So, it had nothing to do with God’s perceived preference for meat over vegetables.

We have come a long and winding way from the days of producing things because we love or care for God and our neighbour. These days most human activities are undertaken for money and for the things that money can buy… houses, cars, washing machines, TV’s, holidays, clothes, etc, etc… the list is endless and all consuming….

Who dare make an offering of their house, car, dishwasher, new shoes or cash to God?

One has to ask the question… what did God want with Cain’s fruit or Abel’s lambs, anyway?  Does God need anything offered or sacrificed?  The point is… the act of offering or sacrifice is for the sake and humility of humanity with respect and love towards God. Without this spirit, any sacrifice… is just more tokenism, blood lust and violence.

There have been many crimes committed by heathen, but the crimes committed by the so called “church” in the name of Jesus are much worse. There are men who boast of Gods provision in their lives and they swan around in their wealth while their neighbours’ starve… The truth is, no one can be rich, except at the expense of others…. And such is not the way of the kingdom of heaven (paradise).

There are only 3 ways to gain wealth: Steal from the earth and your neighbours; sell your skills to your neighbours; invest your wealth with interest at your neighbour's expense…

Everyone must gain wealth through either providing a product, a service or a loan. To gain wealth you must make a profit. The size of your profit is proportional to the amount you overcharge your neighbour for your product, service or loan.

What is the difference between overcharging and stealing? What is the difference between being payed a days wage for half a days work and stealing? What is the difference between investing and profiteering off another mans labour and stealing?

Everything we have to serve with, is given freely and everything we manipulate from the earth to produce these things is given freely, so if we have freely received, what right do we have to charge one another?  And why did Jesus give it ALL away.

Only a Judas seeks profit over a prophet.

(Mat 6:24 KJV)
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
