(Gen 15:1 KJV) After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
In the human realm words change nothing and someone must take action before anything can be changed. You can have all the books, plans and to do lists in the world, but if no-one actions one line… everything remains as it was and all the books, plans and to do lists in the world, are just, so much leaf litter.
Generally, the word of man is passive, it is not authoritative, it lacks power and is just noise or scribble, which changes nothing.
The difference between the word of man and the word of God, is that the “word of God” is active, it commands, powerfully creates and changes things.
Moses came down from the mountain with the 10 commandments, not the 10 things I love about mountains.
Jesus commanded sickness, the elements and demons… he didn’t talk or write children’s stories about them…
Dog trainers understand this… one doesn’t say “nice puppy please sit down and stop jumping up at me”… one simply says “sit!” with authority.
In the destined “robot” world beyond “Microsoft Windows”, one will just say to the robot pal… “run” and it will execute the function… a long conversation about what you want or other words, will not produce the desired result… and so it is.
Words lack power and change nothing - until executed or actioned by an agent.
The critical question here is - who or what executes or actions these words?
Answer: the weaker willed and the willing.
The creator and we, as manipulators, program things for action in response to key commands and stimuli, such that red means stop, amber means get ready and green means go.
Nothing moves until the ‘magic’ words are spoken like : “open sesame”… most times these days you cannot even log on to your computer without knowing the “password”… and so it is.
The right words spoken at the right time and place, to the right agent, can change things.
All around us we are bombarded by all manner of chemical messengers, marketing messages, electronic signals and neon signs - most we can ignore, but others just take control of our “psyche” and we are compelled (as if by magic) to follow where they lead us…..
Like it or not, manipulation of the human will (evil) has become an art form.
(Mat 4:3-4 KJV) And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
