(Gen 3:13 KJV) And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
As a child it is so easy to do something which is considered wrong, since a child doesn’t know the cultural rules of the moment, without being taught.
A ‘good’ teacher is crucial and a ‘good’ pupil is also necessary for a ‘good’ education.
(Mat 19:16-17 KJV) And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
If we are not taught the rules of life up front, or do not listen or understand, then the only way we can learn ‘right’ from ‘wrong’ is as we live from day to day, through the experience of pleasure and pain, reward and punishment.
Without listening and obeying a ‘good’ teacher, we all learn the “hard way”.
Yet, if one has never been taught the ‘right’ rules of life or if one has been taught the ‘wrong’ rules of life, one cannot really be blamed for making mistakes.
However, if one has been taught the ‘right’ rules, but one has failed to listen or failed to understand or preferred an appealing alternative or willfully failed to obey them, then, who is to blame?
Children naturally trust their parents and naturally listen to their parents, however children stop listening to their parents when ‘trust’ is broken or when they are ‘distracted’ by some other agency that beguiles them or when children ‘think’ they know better.
In these days of global education and communication, every child knows more, but knowing more is not the same as knowing better or knowing what is truly good, aka: God.
Without ‘trust’ or ‘faith’ we do not listen, we go our own way or we go the way of the beguiled and to what end?
A caterpillar that does not follow the rules of life, never gives up eating at the right time to pupate and become a butterfly. Will just die, a fat or lost caterpillar.
True crime is a failure to live in alignment (faith) with our God given responsibility.
Jesus was mocked, beaten and crucified as a criminal…. What does that say about the “cultural” laws and authorities of this world?
Men police their own laws to their own ends, but angels police the laws of God to an eternal kingdom, power and glory, forever and ever, amen.
(Mat 12:31 KJV) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
