(Gen 1:3 KJV) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
So where, exactly, does light come from?
Without our God given eyes we cannot even bear witness to light…. So we face not one question here, but at least two…
Where does “light” and where does “sight” come from?
The ancients resolved this with the revelation of ‘God’ - aka: the source ( and author) of all existence.
Modern day thinkers and tinkerers have looked at light with their ‘God given’ eyes, through all kinds of ‘man made’ equipment and postulated that light originated with an explosion at the beginning of time and so “God is dead” and the ‘big bang’ lives.
Even in human logic terms, an explosion in infinite space (regardless of the cause for the moment), would spread out evenly and infinitely, dissipating from itself, creating nothing.
Since an ‘atom’ is the modern day concept of the origins of matter and the ‘big bang’ theory, where did this first piece of matter come from and more importantly, why should it suddenly explode and even more importantly what caused both these events to happen?
Seems to me, the modern day thinkers and tinkerers have not answered the real ‘meaty’ questions they have just managed to smokescreen the populous with sleight of words, as so many politicians do, to evade the ‘inconvenient truth’.
All science should seek truth and all religions should live true...
The main difference between… “in the beginning was ‘the word’ (will of God)” and “in the beginning was the ‘big bang’” is that the former has purpose and the latter has no purpose. The former continues to manifest as heaven and earth and life and you and me, while the latter by all rational logic, like all other big bangs, should fizzle out…. But for some inexplicable reason... doesn’t.
And so, in my book ‘God is alive and well’ and the ‘big bang is a dead and deadly theory’…
So, how does light continue to be spontaneously generated from an explosion that occurred billions of years ago?
Light, like life's blood, seems to flow from the heart of our universe and like the human heart continues mysteriously. One could argue that it explodes in our chest, but this would be delusion. Since when this happens, we die, we no longer live.
The sun continues to give its light because it is empowered by a source unseen, not because it is exploding, if this were so, it would have been scattered across the universe in an instant and all would be dark and cold... and life and you and me, would be no more.
(John 1:2-5 KJV) The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
