(Gen 5:2 KJV)
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

We now know from our microscopic observations and experimentation on what we call DNA (Deoxyribo-Nucleic Acid) that our genetic material is commonly shared with all living things.  Not only is this genetic material shared, but in common with our current day software models, the historical record of all previous structural and functional changes together with significant extensions are somehow carried in a unique chemical code that we have reduced to common patterns of alphabetic letters of A, T, C & G arranged in a combination sequence of approximately 3 billion or so.

What this means is that we are engineered (created) from a common paradigm or model shared by all life. At the genetic level every human being  differs only by about 1 in every 1000 letters of this code and as far as we know the closest living relative in a different species is the Chimpanzee principally because we have observed a 95% match in genetic material. Tracing this genetic material through various living organisms we have discovered that the genetic makeup of “Adam” is not that different to the genetic make-up of worms, bacteria and the first forms of life.

Though this may surprise some, it does not really surprise me… we have known for years that a human embryo in the womb develops through many fish and lizard like structural changes which mirror this ancestral record.

However, though digital technology was an extension of analogue technology and though colour TV was an extension of Black and white TV.

A digital computer is not the same thing as a radio, even though they may share a common technological foundation and have common components.

To emphasize the dichotomy here… why don’t humans interbreed with chimpanzees or other ‘species’?  Why is ‘bestiality’ considered wrong?  At the genetic level we see that the genetic code of humans and chimpanzees is incompatible, the so called ‘hot spots’ or the points at which exchanges occur in genetic material at the microscopic level between the chromosomes are very different. The interbreeding of humans and chimpanzees would fail and both species would become extinct.  Bestiality is not wrong because of some legal edict, but simply because it is anti-life’s sustainability and therefore anti-God.

We now know that the universe consists of 118 or so unique atomic elements used in various combinations, so is it really any surprise that all things consist of extensions of the original source of existence?

Though we can observe and name the cellular replication and extension as mitosis and meiosis… what we fail to understand or grasp is the source, perfect power and motivation driving and guiding these observed changes.  Behind every change there is a causal agent, just because the causal agent is invisible to our limited genetic RGB eyesight  or unknown to our limited minds, doesn’t mean that the cause doesn’t exist, it just means that we are blind and blinded by our own self importance and limited genetic perceptions.

(Rev 4:11 KJV)
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
